All program settings are stored in the system registry. You can easily
save the program settings at one computer using the save settings script and
restore them at another computer.
In order to save settings:
- Proceed to the program folder, usually this is 'C:\Program Files\USB Safely Remove'
- Run SaveSettings.bat script located there
- After you run the script a file USBSafelyRemoveSettings.reg will be created there,
it is the settings file. You can save it to a portable storage and then
use it to restore the settings.
In order to restore settings:
- The settings can be restored on the same computer or on another computer.
Please do not forget to check whether the program is installed before you
restore the settings.
- Just run USBSafelyRemoveSettings.reg file (enter or double click it).
The system will ask you if you are sure to add an information to the registry -
say "Yes".
Your license key is also stored in the settings file! So be careful,
do not pass your settings file to another people. If your license key
will be found on the Internet we will be forced to block it.
At your wish, you can exclude the license key from the settings file.

In order to exclude the license key from the settings file:
The settings file has MS Windows registry file format, which is a plain-text
file containing sections and parameters with values. Thus you can delete
unnecessary to restore options (e.g. the license key) using a plain text editor.
