What is the advantage of v5.3.xx over v5.2.1.xxxx

Post by bawldiggle »

Thank you for your excellent program :)
- have been using USB Safely Remove and LockHunter since Feb-2013

I am currently using v5.2.1.1195 on two machines
Q1: would I benefit from upgrading to most recent v5.3.5.xxxx ?
- I cannot find any development info to compare the two versions
- using Win7 (32-bit + 64-bit)

Q2:If so what would the cost be to upgrade ?
  • SPECS:
    Toshiba Satellite C665
    OS:= Windows 7 Home Premium (32-bit), sp1 (Build 7601) OEM
    USB Safely Remove:= v5.2.1.1195
    UI:=Classic Shell Start + Classic Explorer
Thank you :)

Eleven months later, no response :(

I am still using v5.2.1 on old PCs but now have a new laptop.
Was contemplating paying for an upgrade.

USBSafelyRemove has been invaluable ... extremely disappointed at the lack of "support"
- in the past Igor has been very helpful
- with 20,361 views of this thread alone in 11 months, I wonder what CrystalRich have lo$t

I will keep using my old 5.2.1 instead of buying 5.5.x ... but of course if I ever get a reply I might change my mind
Then there is always "AlternativesTo.com"

Hello bawldiggle,
I'm terribly sorry for non responding in time, yes I no longer monitor the forum. To have technical support it's much better to contact us through the support form or the program (Help -> Report a bug). Usually I try to respond within a day. In future I will update the forum software to something modern and spam proof and will monitor it as well.

Answering to your question: I see you have already upgraded to the latest version, anyway all changes for versions are available in our blog. For old-school-guys we have History.txt file as well in the root folder of the program that have also reflect all changes.
