One of my machines insists on listing empty CD/DVD drive in the popup menu.
How can I hide the list item when the drive is empty.

Thank you :)

Access to Hidden drives window is not available in "Simple Menu" view
Online help Hide Devices http://www.safelyremove.com/help/ht_hideDevice.htm ... could do with a hi-lite about ""Simple Menu"

Code: Select all

To gain access to hidden devices list (window)
	"Simple Menu" Options setting hides access to Hidden devices dlg
	.. to escape "simple-menu" ...
		TrayIcon  -> RClick -> Options
			(Options cog-icon is not visible in "Simple Menu"
		Options (dlg) -> Look and Feel (list item)
		Stopping menu additional options (panel)
		[  ]  Simple Menu   <<< DISABLE

I'm sorry for so long response. Actually you can access hidden devices three ways:
  1. By double clicking to the tray icon
  2. From the tray icon context menu: right click to the tray icon and choose "Show Main Window"
  3. (Perhaps most unknown way) By pressing "Tab" while you are in the menu
